Sasuke immediately recognizes that Naruto is a fake because of the shuriken on left leg, the lack of his face wound, and his incorrect handedness. Hidden Rain nin, Mubi, transforms and attacks. Sasuke attacks with his fireball technique, Katon Housenka no Jutsu (Fire Element, Phoenix Fire). He then searches for Naruto, who is lying tied up and releases him, but in the process falls into one of Mubi’s traps. Naruto comes to his rescue and Sasuke is able to use his sharingan to stab Mubi with his shuriken. Mubi runs into the forest.

Sasuke decides to set a password to identify teammates in case the group splits up. First, they will ask, “The ninja song ‘Ninki’?” to which they will respond “It is a good chance when a large number of enemies are making a scene. There are no hideouts even in a quiet place. It is important for a ninja to know the right time. The time when the enemy is tired, and has his guard down.”

Suddenly, Naruto gets hit & his cheek sliced. A large gust of wind hits them and the Hidden Rain nin team appears. Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto are separated. Sakura meets up with Sasuke and recites the password. Soon Naruto appears and he too recites the password. Sasuke immediately recognizes Naruto as an imposter, as the real Naruto would never remember it. A Hidden Grass Ninja appears and asks how Sasuke knew he was a fake.

Naruto meanwhile is swallowed by a large snake.

The Grass nin eats his scroll and then attacks with a vicious mental attack. Both Sakura and Sasuke imagine themselves dying. After seeing his eye, an imprint of death was transferred to them. Sasuke wants to run, knowing that if they stay, death awaits them. Unfortunately, both are paralyzed by fear as Grass nin looks on ready to strike with his kunais.

Naruto has a near-death recount of his friends as he wonders if he will die in the snake’s stomach. Vowing not to give up yet, he performs shadow replication to escape.

Meanwhile, Sasuke is able to stabbed himself in the leg to free himself from his fear. He then picks up sakura and the two escaped the Grass nin’s kunai strike. Suddenly, a large snake attacks the two. Sasuke throws his shurikan and hits it, but the Grass nin emerges from its body and takes on its form. As Sasuke becomes more emerged in his fear, Naruto shows up to help.
